Break The Ice On An Expedition To Antarctica

Discover the frozen continent of Antarctica with icebergs the size of office blocks, ancient glaciers and amazing wildlife from hump back whales to elephant seals and king penguins.

Flight Centre has an 18-night Antarctica, Falkland Island and South Georgia expedition cruise available for travellers looking to explore this pristine wilderness where very few people have travelled.

The cruise departs from Ushuaia, the southern tip of Argentina and includes visiting the extraordinary Falkland Islands, the hauntingly beautiful island of South Georgia and diverse Sub-Antarctic Islands and Antarctic Peninsula

The cruise offers travellers unique and awe inspiring views of this spectacular and inhospitable land, as well as the chance to spend as much time as possible hiking and watching wildlife on land as well as cruising on smaller zodiac boats amongst the icebergs and whales.

The 18-day cruise starts from £5,990 per person and includes the full board cruise, transfers from Ushuaia and excursions from the ship, as well as highly trained expedition leaders that will make this trip of a lifetime. The next departure dates are in February 2007.

International flights to Argentina are not included. Flight Centre can organise these from £900 per person in February 2007 from Heathrow to Buenos Aires and then onto Ushuaia.
