The eagerly anticipated opening of Sabi Sabi's newest lodge, 'Little Bush Camp' is still on track for 1 March 2006.
Previously known as Londolozi’s Safari Lodge, this intimate lodge is located just 20 kilometres to the south of Sabi Sabi's core traversing area and will complement the other 3 properties in the Sabi Sabi portfolio perfectly , namely Selati Camp, Bush Lodge and Earth Lodge.
This beautiful six-suite luxury lodge is situated in the shade of indigenous riverine trees on a dry riverbed, and has an intimate, rustic feel that blends with the 5-Star accommodation and absolute luxury.
The lodge features air-conditioned double suites, en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers and private viewing decks. Thatched roofs, draped mosquito nets and wooden and stone finishes complete the picture and make for the perfect private escape - with attractive rates on offer for families and small corporate incentives to take over the whole lodge for exclusive use should they wish.
The additional land acquired will also enhance Sabi Sabi's extensive traversing area within the sabi Sands Wildtuin. The habitat has been well managed over the past 20 years and features open areas of bush that make for excellent cheetah and white Rhino sightings as well as being ideal for viewing plains game such as zebra and wildebeest.
Rates start from around £300 per person per night including all meals, local drinks and open Land Rover safaris by day and at night in 'Big 5' territory, accompanied by qualified rangers and Shangaan trackers.
