"Lost" TV destination line up in New America 2006 Programme

The Pacific Islands of Hawaii - which star as the setting for the popular TV series Lost - now, plays a leading role in Travel City Direct's new America 2006 brochure.

This year-round USA programme features non-stop scheduled flights from eight UK airports, accommodation ranging from comfortable three star hotels to outstanding five star properties and prices which are reviewed daily to offer holidaymakers the best possible value.

Supported by a ‘talented cast’ of new multi-centre holidays, city breaks, scenic discovery tours and adventure centres - including Scottsdale and the famous National Parks of California, Arizona and Utah. Travel City Direct’s America product is teamed with five of the best known airlines flying the Atlantic: American Airlines, bmi, British Airways, Continental Airlines and US Airways.

Whilst offering its travellers a wide range of flexible, independent arrangements to the USA, including fly-drive and motorhome options, the new brochure also features a range of multi-centre holidays including classic combinations and some with a new twist to the plot. These include New York or Las Vegas and Orlando; New York and Los Angeles; Boston, Washington & New York or San Francisco, Waikiki and Las Vegas, with durations ranging from 9 -14 nights.

Island hopping around the Hawaiian islands of Oahu, Maui and Kauai is made easy by simply jumping on one of the inter-island flights and Travel City Direct is also delighted to offer breathtaking aerial helicopter tours over two of the islands to explore the hidden rainforests, valleys, volcanoes, waterfalls and beaches which may seem familiar from the Lost TV series. Prices for a seven night holiday to Hawaii start at £799 inclusive of return flights and room-only accommodation.

In the America 2006 brochure you will also find a choice of city breaks in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington priced from £379 for a three night break, inclusive of flights and accommodation. Other points of interest include Chicago, Memphis, Nashville, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and San Diego. There are helpful suggestions on what to see and do and where to stay in each city and, if you think that the Big Apple is just for adults, then check out the ‘Families in New York’ information on page 16.

And if you are looking for Classic New England pre-planned fly-drives or fully escorted coach tours around the beautiful states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut and Massachusetts these are available throughout summer and autumn.
