Wotif.com ( www.wotif.com ), the UK’s fastest growing discounted accommodation website, reveals that out of 1000 Wotif.com customers surveyed, 63% would prefer to receive a night away to celebrate Valentine’s Day rather than dine out, receive flowers or munch their way through a box of chocolates.
The Wotif.com survey asked participants what they would most like to receive for Valentine’s Day this year. A romantic night away topped Cupid’s wish list by coming in at 63%, followed by a candlelit dinner at 18%, flowers at 10%, chocolates at 7% and other at 2%. Other suggestions for Valentine’s Day gifts were a Porsche, breakfast in bed, jewellery and a partner to spend the moment with.
