At the end of June the city of Assen goes race mad. During this period the Dutch TT races are held in this capital of the province of Drenthe. The riders in the various categories prepare for the Grand Prix race on Saturday 26 June.
Spectacle
Every single year the Dutch TT races attract more than 100,000 spectators. From the stands and the roadsides you can follow the race from very close up. See the riders flash by across the fast track at top speeds while coping with the camber changes. Ask anyone who has been to the Dutch TT. They will tell you the atmosphere at this spectacular and exciting event is unique!
Fun Atmosphere
Of course, the race is the focal point of the day, however, just outside the track there is also a lot of action. Booths are located everywhere. Sandwiches, ice cream, cold beer and T-shirts and motor helmets are sold here.
