A survey conducted by Best Western Hotels GB, to help understand what influences us Brits to take a hotel break in Great Britain reveals that almost half of us start the week looking forward to the weekend and a third of us describe our average week as repetitive. As only one in ten describe the week as exciting, it looks like it is time for us to take action and make our weeks and weekends less monotonous and more appealing!
As 70% of those surveyed only take between one to three hotel breaks in GB a year, now summer is here, why not book a weekend or mid-week break in England, Scotland, Wales or the Channel Islands to escape the working monotony and spend time with the ones that you are close to…may that be your partner, friends, the kids or even the dog!

69% of women book a weekend break to get away from the household chores whilst over 56% of men book a hotel break to get away from work, however there are 2% of us out there that book a weekend break to get away from our partners!
