Scotland's finest flavours

Scotland’s Finest FlavoursIt’s the home of Aberdeen Angus beef, salmon from the Rivers Dee and Spey, lamb and grain from rich farmland, white fish from the North Sea and some well-known names in malt whisky. It is hardly surprising that the Aberdeen and Grampian region of the Highlands is known as “Scotland’s larder”.

Now the region is telling the world about its fine produce with its first food and drink guide and website. The 44-page “Scotland’s Finest Flavours” guide features 47 places where you can dine, sample or buy the best produce in North-East Scotland.

Restaurants, pubs and hotels are detailed alongside retail food outlets, whisky distilleries and producers of ice-cream, shortbread and preserves. The free guide, which includes a map locating the places featured, can be ordered through the campaign’s website. It forms part of a wider marketing campaign promoting the Aberdeen and Grampian Highlands as a destination of choice for lovers of good food and drink.
