World Museum Liverpool

One of North-West England’s best-loved museums has been given a new look – and a new name.

World Museum Liverpool – formerly Liverpool Museum – has reopened (April 29) doubled in size, with thousands of exhibits, many of them displayed for the first time. Among the highlights is a World Cultures gallery in a part of the museum not opened since 1941, with 1,500 artefacts from every continent. Admission is free.
