London's transport icons in new museum

Some of London's renowned transport icons – including the original Underground map, the double-deck Routemaster bus and the famous 'roundel' logo – will take pride of place in a new London Transport Museum opening in October. The museum, in Covent Garden, has been closed since autumn 2005 but reopens with added attractions, in its renovated Victorian Flower Market building, following a £21 million makeover.Saturday, March 31st, 2007

Rose spectacular at Sussex garden

Yorkshire hosts Indian film academy awards

The bright and the beautiful of the Indian film industry, as well as international celebrities, will travel to Yorkshire this summer for the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA). The event will be broadcast to nearly 500 million viewers in 110 countries. It is part of a four-day celebration of South Asian culture and creativity (June 7-10) including events in five Yorkshire cities.Saturday, March 31st, 2007

Latitude Festival: July 12th – 15th 2007

The award-winning and ground-breaking Latitude Festival is returning to the sunrise coast of Suffolk for it's amazing second year.
