They will also be treated to a lively insight into some of the most unusual tortures ever – including the Goat’s Tongue, where a victim was tied to a bench, had salt water applied to their bare feet and then a dehydrated goat was let loose to lick them. Watch out too for the wailing singing torture victims roaming the grounds, and an escaped convict who has slipped through the grasp of the Warwick Castle Gaoler and will tell grave and grim tales of the dungeon – but only as long as he can stay one step ahead of the terrible torturer!
