Once a year, Amsterdam’s historic city center is transformed into Holland’s most beautiful concert hall. On a pontoon in the Prinsengracht a festive highlight, The Prinsengracht Concert’ will take place. The concert starts at 8 pm with the programme.

No tickets are on sale for the Prinsengrachtconcert. The seats on the pontoon are exclusively for invited guests and sponsors who make the concert possible. You can listen to the concert on the banks of the Prinsengracht or from the water in your own boat. The Prinsengrachtconcert is attended every year by thousands of visitors. To find a suitable place along the banks, you are advised to come well in advance. After the interval, the concert will be broadcast live in the Netherlands.
BY BOAT
If you are coming to the Prinsengrachtconcert by boat then you have to make sure you approach Prinsengracht just before 3 pm. At that time it will be closed to through traffic. That means you have to keep moving until that time because the canal may not be blocked to other water traffic and tourist round-trip boats.
