Wines of Chile will once again be taking a stand at the hugely successful consumer event, The London Wine Show. Taking place between 26th – 29th October at the Business Design Centre in Islington this is the biggest event of its kind in the UK.
Wines of Chile will be making a big impact in 2006 with a colourful stand right at the entrance to the show, sampling more than 75 wines over the 4 days of the show and offering a stunning trip to Chile in a special competition.
8 wineries will be present each day showing wines from all over Chile’s premium wine regions from Elqui and Limarí in the north to Bío Bío in the South. Chilean Syrah, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Gewurztraminer are making an increasing mark in the wine world and a number of these will be on the stand to taste. Crisp fresh Sauvignon Blancs are another wine to look out for as the new 2006 wines begin to arrive in the UK.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to enter a fantastic competition organised by Wines of Chile to win a 2 week trip of a lifetime to Chile with Chilean Travel Specialist, Pura Aventura. The lucky winners will ski in the Andes, tour vineyards in Maipo and enjoy a stay in the capital city of Santiago.
Tastings and Events Manager for Wines of Chile, Anita Jackson said, ‘This has been a great show for us since it started. It attracts a broad spectrum of wine enthusiasts, all of whom are adventurous in their search for new and interesting wines. We’re looking forward to being back and introducing more people to Chilean wine”
