Cafe One-O-One Opens For Al Fresco Dining

The Sheraton Park Tower hotel will open its al fresco cafe for the summer months on 26 April 2006. Cafe One-O-One will be adjacent to London’s top fish restaurant, One-O-One in Knightsbridge.

Seating 100 people, the Parisian-style café will be open daily from breakfast until late, and will serve coffees, teas, refreshments and light snacks, such as fresh pastries, baguettes, salads and toasted paninis.

For the first time, this year the Café will also be offering dishes from the restaurant, One-O-One, during lunch and dinner times. This will give guests the opportunity to sample some of Head Chef, Pascal Proyart’s renowned fish dishes in an informal environment.

The new dishes available at Café One-O-One will include: Half a dozen rock oysters with buttered seaweed bread; Monkfish cheeks tempura with coriander mint dips; Norwegian haddock almandine with sautéed spinach; Tiger prawn tamarind coconut with aubergine sambal; Roasted organic salmon Mediterranean style; Bruschetta of squid and prawns a la plancha, as well as Pascal’s speciality, Grilled Norwegian red king crab with sauce vierge.

For coffee connoisseurs, Café One-O-One will be working with the premium coffee brand, Davidoff. The Café will be serving the Davidoff Café Espresso from its "Grande Cuvée” range, which is known for its full-bodied, intensive aroma and long-lasting flavour. Only the very finest coffee beans from the world's top coffee-growing regions are selected to make it, and its unmistakable aroma is due to the special dark-roasting process.

Café One-O-One has an excellent central location in Knightsbridge, being only minutes’ walk from Harvey Nichols and Harrods. This makes it the perfect setting for summer al fresco dining, whether it is for business meetings, ladies having lunch, or families passing by.

Coen Van Niersen, Café One-O-One’s Manager, says, “Café One-O-One has been hugely popular for the past three years and we are delighted to be introducing dishes from One-O-One’s restaurant menu for the first time. I can’t think of a better way to enjoy Pascal’s famous dishes on a hot summers’ day, than in our al fresco café in the heart of Knightsbridge.”

The fashionable café will feature blue and white chairs and a retractable blue canopy. High glass screens, heaters and romantic lighting will allow guests to dine into the evening.
