Chocolate heaven with the fondue experience

A chocolate fountain phenomenon is set to start in the South East with a new chocolate fondue party business.

The Fondue Experience (www.fondueexperience.com), based in London, has been set-up by Debra Lamb and supplies chocolate fondues to party holders across the South East region.

A self confessed chocoholic Debra has worked in the catering business for 20 years. She decided to set-up the business after attending a close friend's wedding, who had the idea of having a fountain instead of a traditional wedding cake at their reception, believing that they would make the perfect accessory for any party or wedding celebration.

Her chocolate fountains work by pouring luscious Belgium chocolate into the base and then turning on a (very quiet) motor which enables chocolate to travel up the tower – the fountain's streamlined design then allows melted chocolate to cascade over five tiers creating a curtain of flowing chocolate fondue. The Fondue Experience is the first company in the country to invest in a five tier fondue (the current average being just three tiers).

Debra says: “Chocolate fondues are an activity that people can do together and are lots of fun, as well as being absolutely delicious of course. They will certainly be a focus of any party and can be used for birthday parties, weddings, corporate functions, balls and even barbecues."

Party holders can choose from a range of the finest Belgium chocolates – from standard milk or dark chocolate to more exotic offerings such as lemon or lime or cappuccino. Also on offer are a wide range of fondue dips or fresh fruits which Debra and her team personally pick direct from local markets. Unlimited napkins and skewers come as standard and depending on the size of the party Debra will provide qualified staff to help serve the delicious party treat.

Where possible special requirements are always accommodated – fountains can be decorated and even be made to colour coordinate with a party’s theme or have balloons or flower arrangements added. As Deborah says “Our aim is simply to make your day or event as memorable as possible”
