Beachcomber Woos Golfers With Choice Of Three Championship Courses

In addition to playing the established 18-hole, Par 72 championship course at Paradis Golf Club, guests at Beachcomber’s two properties on Le Morne Peninsular - Paradis Hotel & Golf Club and Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa - now have privileged tee off times and special reduced green fees at Golf du Château in Bel Ombre and The Tamarina Golf Estate and Beach Club, both just 25-minutes drive from Paradis.

At Paradis Hotel & Golf Club guests are never more than a few minutes walk from the first tee. The 5,899 metre international golf course sits between five miles of fine sandy beaches with a breathtaking mountain backdrop, and offers beginners and experienced players alike an exciting and challenging game with sea hazards, strategically placed bunkers and differing fairways.

According to Lindsay Walker, Beachcomber Hotels UK Country Manager: “We can now offer golfers the opportunity of playing three world class courses set in totally different landscapes, and each offering totally different challenges.

“The Golf du Château set among the sugar cane fields on the southern coast exudes a “colonial” feel. It is a 6,498-metre, Par 72 course designed by leading South African course architect, Peter Matkovitch.

“From this Autumn, the brand new 7,200 metre Par 72 course at The Tamarina Golf Estate and Beach Club, designed by Wright Golf Design, will offer golfers yet more challenges.”

Prices for seven nights at Paradis Hotel and Golf Club vary according to date of departure starting from £1333 per adult based on two adults sharing accommodation on a half-board basis, return economy Air Mauritius flights and private transfers.
