This year, Christmas comes to Grayshott, where guests are urged to relax, unwind and rejuvenate for the year to come in the warm and comforting surroundings of this Manor House in Surrey.
Being waited on hand and foot, Grayshott offers a Christmas and New Year with a refreshing difference. Guests can expect to indulge in true festive spirit without any of the guilt since the cuisine is surprisingly healthy while still embracing all expected traditions and customs. With none of the stress, preparation or chores usually associated with this time of year, guests will only have to ponder the decision as to whether to enjoy a natural health therapy, a luxurious beauty treatment, or take a crisp walk in the beautiful countryside.
Christmas (23rd – 26thDecember)
In the best tradition, on Christmas Eve the celebrations commence with a cocktail party and champagne reception with carol singers around the tree followed by a candlelit dinner. Christmas Day promises a ‘home away from home’ experience, with presents being opened around the tree before a morning walk through the surrounding National Trust Land and a traditional lunch. The Boxing Day challenge includes a treasure hunt designed to ‘intrigue’ as well as a golf competition.
Prices for a three consecutive night stay start from £595 per guest, and a four-night stay from £695 per guest. Additional nights are from £75 per guest (excluding the 30th and 31st December). The stay includes a Classic Grayshott Massage.
New Year (30th December – 1st January)
A tennis challenge, champagne reception, gala dinner with dancing and live entertainment, and a fireworks display provide a spectacular welcome to the New Year. On the first of January, there is a leisurely jazz brunch followed by a “New Year New You – 2006 Setting and Sustaining your Goals” programme to ensure guests make the most of the year ahead.
Prices for a two-night consecutive stay start from £495 per guest, with an additional night from £75 per guest. The stay includes a Classic Grayshott Massage.
Guests will also be pleased to know that Christmas need not come just once a year with the Grayshott Gift Vouchers starting at £100 and valid for 6 months.
