The Copthorne Hotel London Gatwick will be redesigning and renovating all 93 of its standard bedrooms within the hotel, creating a more contemporary and friendly feel for its guests.
At a cost of £1million all the hotel’s standard rooms and bathrooms will be transformed and refurbished. Work will begin on 5th September with completion due by the middle of December.
The newly renovated standard rooms will have an emphasis on the comfort and convenience for the discerning traveller with all design work being done in-house by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. The rooms will be given a complete new look and will include new curtains, carpets and decoration including new artwork on the walls.
The refurbishment has taken guest comfort into consideration in the designs with internet access available in each room via the TV and also electrical work being carried out to move the sockets to desk height, making them more accessible for laptops and other office equipment used by guests.
The bathrooms in all of the standard rooms will also be completely renovated and will include new floor and ceiling tiles, complete replastering of all walls and fitting of new bathroom fittings.
The Copthorne Hotel London Gatwick is built around a 16th Century farmhouse and set in 100 acres of tranquil woodlands and landscaped gardens, with a full leisure centre and superb, award-winning restaurant.
