London's five star Baglioni Hotel is pleased to announce the arrival of their new Italian Cinema afternoons and evenings which will begin on Sunday March 5th and will then continue on the first Sunday of every month.
The downstairs Kensington Suite will be tansformed into an intimate cinema where guests can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea or Italian three-course dinner followed by a classic Italian movie such as ‘Cinema Paradiso’, ‘La Dolce Vita’ and Il Postino’. These can be enjoyed in the comfort of a deep armchair whilst sipping a glass of red wine, a chilled Italian Beer or the specially created Baglioni ‘Movie Martini’. There will even be individual pots of the famous Italian Morelli’s ice cream and cups of popcorn available which can be shared as the lights go down.
The afternoon showing will commence at 3.30pm, with guests being welcomed from 2.30pm onwards. Traditional Italian tea will be served. The price per person will be £25 to include a full tea and one glass of house champagne or a beer. This price excludes other drinks and service.
The evening showing will begin at 8pm, with guests being welcomed from 7pm onwards. On arrival they will be offered a cold Italian beer or a ‘Movie Martini’, followed by a three-course dinner and complimentary ice-cream and popcorn. The price per person will be £28 excluding wine, water and service.
