According to a poll conducted by Cheapflights.co.uk, the UK's largest travel price comparison website, it’s not always the youngest women who are the objects of male fantasy.
When asked who their dream date would be for Valentine’s Day this year, a fifth of male Cheapflights’ respondents overwhelmingly voted statuesque star Nicole Kidman their number one choice, with Tom Cruise’s new belle, the demure Katie Holmes coming last in the poll with a mere 4% of votes.
Less surprisingly, curvy blonde Hollywood darling Scarlett Johansson came behind Nicole with 13% of votes, followed by Welsh warbler Charlotte Church with 12%. Ozzy’s missus, Sharon Osbourne was a dream date for 9% of UK males and brassy Essex girl Jodie Marsh rocked only 4% of men’s worlds.
Tall, dark and handsome works for UK females with almost 30% voting for the extremely suave George Clooney, followed by dad-to-be Brad Pitt (17%) and dreamy Aussie actor Heath Ledger, (10%). Only 5% of British females agree with Kate Moss, choosing shambolic Pete Doherty as their dream date in the poll.
Irish women seem to prefer balding men with a staggering 59% of them picking beleaguered England football coach Sven Goran Eriksson as their dream date!
