More Perks In Austrian Business Class

It’s not just the cabins that are being upgraded in Austrian’s long haul, Business Class. The sensational ‘Flying Chef’ that was a feature of the Boeing fleet is now extended across the carrier’s Airbus fleet as well. Business Class passengers will be treated to a superb, six course, gourmet menu that is hand finished by the on-board, professional chef.

To compliment the meal service Austrian are introducing the Original Viennese Coffee House Service. The fabulous aroma of freshly brewed coffee brings to mind the special quality of Vienna’s world famous meeting places, the national symbol of culture and hospitality. Passengers can choose from eleven typically Austrian coffees to accompany their dessert including:

Melange, this is the traditional Viennese choice where strong black coffee is ‘stretched’ with hot milk and sweetened with sugar.
Fiaker, named after the horse drawn carriages that operate around central Vienna, this black coffee is served in a glass with cognac and whipped cream added.
Franziskaner, we douse fine black coffee with foamed milk and then add whipped cream and cocoa powder.
Maria Theresia, named after the best loved Empress, black coffee served with a shot of orange liqueur.

The Original Viennese Coffee House Service is unique to Austrian and is a further demonstration of the first class, personal service offered to our Business Class passengers.
