The Tourism Society is offering three brand new life skills workshops this Autumn/Winter. These exciting workshops have been designed to help radically improve the success of small businesses in tourism through improved communication and networking skills. Enlisting the expertise of professional trainers, the workshops will be sponsored by Business Link for London giving participants the opportunity for a one-to-one consultation and review session with a tourism specialist.
Improved communication and networking opportunities are essential to the future of tourism and will be shaped by those organisations that learn to utilise them effectively. With *SMEs equating to approximately 90 per cent of the tourism industry, businesses need to continuously develop their core proficiencies to survive in this increasing competitive sector. Focusing on communication, networking and presentation skills, the three evening workshops aim to raise professional standards in tourism.
Small business support and advice service, and principle sponsor, Business Link for London is offering those companies returning its business review form the chance of a free business strategy review. The Tourism Society will also be running a raffle to win a year’s free membership.
The seminars will take place at the Bonnington Hotel, London, between October and December 2006.
